President Clinton came to Maine to
boost Governor Baldaccis campaign. The President said the governor was a
tiger when he worked with him in Washington D.C.
"No other governor has taken
sound economic policies, like the enterprise zones and turned them into Pine Tree Zones,
started a community college system, and a statewide health care system, while balancing
the state's budget. Maine needs Governor Baldacci."
