Biography
Albert C.
Boothby, Jr. graduated from Vermont Academy in 1962. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree
from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, in 1966 and a Juris Doctor degree from
the School of Law, State University of New York (Buffalo, New York) in 1969. He was
admitted to practice in New York in 1970 and in Maine in 1972.
Mr. Boothby
has also been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts in Maine and as an
attorney in military Courts Martial and Administrative proceedings.

After service in the
United States Army (Field Artillery), he was honorably discharged in 1971 with the rank of
captain. He continues to represent many clients from the Brunswick Naval Air Station in
both military and civilian matters.
Mr. Boothby established
his law firm in Brunswick in 1973 and moved his office to its present location on Middle
Street in 1995. Over the years he has served on many Brunswick and private volunteer
committees and boards.
Mr. Boothby is a member
of:
- The Maine State Bar Association
- The Maine Trial Lawyers
- The American Trial Lawyers
And he is a Justice of the
Peace for the State of Maine.
Mr. Boothby resides in
Brunswick and is the father of three children.
